BOB DILLON
VOCALS
As a rock n’ roll veteran to the Detroit Music Scene, Bob Dillon has shared the stage with many national acts. From Great White to Thin Lizzy; Dillon is an experienced and talented front man who thoroughly enjoys covering classic rock,
and southern rock music.
Alongside Dillon’s eclectic music taste, he has an extensive collection of vintage audio/hi-fi, LP and reel to reel music. Even amidst a busy schedule, Dillon is very music centered in his free time.
Dillon joined Black Mountain Sons as their front man in march 2023 and anticipates to grow the groups following. In addition to expanding the bands demographic, Dillon is dedicated to continually enhancing the groups sound and stage presence.
BILLY JEFFREY
GUITAR
Growing up in the Eastside of Detroit, Bill Jeffrey discovered his passion for music early on when his father brought home a used guitar for him. From then on, his infatuation with music continued to grow.
Jeffrey took guitar lessons from Detroit musician, Robert Gillespie while he was still in high school and studied music theory in college.
Over time Jeffrey decided to start a band with a friend while on a business trip in Las Vegas. “Apparently, not everything stays in Vegas” , says Jeffrey.
Since developing the band, Jeffrey has networked with a myriad of talented musicians
throughout the years.
JIM MOLNAR
KEYS
At the age of six years old Jim Molnar begun taking interest in playing piano. After winning a copious amount of youth talent shows, Molnar naturally went on to explore his craft even deeper. Over the span of several years, Molnar joined several area cover bands and was hooked on playing live.
Currently, as the keyboard player in Black Mountain Sons he contributes his exquisite musical ear. Alongside, a humorous but professional outlook on live performances and covering classic rock music.
CHRIS MURRELL
BASS
Residing in the metro Detroit area Chris Murrell has played bass in numerous local acts. Murrell has experience ranging from rock and R&B musicians to theatre groups. Outside the range of music he has a number of other hobbies that connect him to the metro Detroit community
DON PERCHA
DRUMS
With a wide range of musical influences from metal to jazz, and just about everything in between, Don Percha tends to incorporate many genres into his rotation of music.
Percha grew up on the Eastside of Detroit and is veteran to the local music scene. Over the years, Percha has shared his talents in a number of local bands including; Empathy and Summer Nights.
As the drummer of Black Mountain Sons, he intends to keep rock n’ roll thriving amongst the Detroit metro area and playing feel good music that people love.
